Mortgage Bankers Association applications down –2% in the week of Feb 13

Mortgage Market Index 371.5 v 379.0 previous

Purchase Index declined to 216.9 from 223.1, with the Refinance Index falling from 1239.6 to 1227.60

A relatively disappointing  week for Mortgage Bankers.

Existing home sales a bit brighter with 5.69m units v 5.54m.

Redbook at 1.10%

Canadian Retail Sales MM as expected at -0.50%, ex-autos better than expected at -0.30% v –90%.
