Visa is reporting earnings of $1.23 per Class A share on revenues of $5.43 Billion for the quarter ending September 2018.

Analysts expected $1.20 per share on $5.44 Billion in sales.

Visa noted that it benefited from higher debit and credit-card spending in the United States.

Total transactions increased 12% while notional value was up 11% for the quarter.
